Peterborough Environment City Trust
was chosen to operate one of just three Energy Saving Trust
pilot sustainable energy advice centres in the United Kingdom.
The other centres are in Northern Ireland and the North East.
The Energy Saving Trust Advice Centre Anglia is government
funded to provide free independent advice and information
to householders from Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk on:

Households
produce 27% of the UK's carbon dioxide emissions. Transport
produces a further 25%. Using energy efficiently will
reduce a typical household's carbon emissions by two tonnes
(a third of the annual total) and could save over £300
a year. The advice centre raises awareness of carbon saving
choices and turns good intentions into action through
linking householders with the energy saving supply chain.

The Energy Saving Trust Advice Centre Anglia works in
partnership with a large number of organisations such
as local authorities, the media, governmental and non-governmental
groups as well as commercial organisations to help people
to make the most of their energy. |
