New Environmental Education
Website Launch (December 2006)
An
exciting new environmental education website for secondary
schools will be launched on 11 December 2006 at The King's
School, Peterborough.
Greener Futures is a fun and interactive website and currently
exists for primary school children. Over the past year,
Peterborough Environment City Trust has been working with
Crystal
Presentations Ltd, a multimedia design company,
to create a section of the website for secondary schools.
Used in schools, the website is designed to demonstrate
the impact that pupils have on the environment. Pupils
at two local schools, The King's School and Hampton College,
have been involved in the design and development of the
game.
The
Key Stage 3 website includes a questionnarire and data
analysis section and also the spectacular 'Green Planet'
game.
